Leah’s work is grounded in a lifelong exploration of truth, consciousness, and the interplay between fate and free will. Guided by the principles of empowerment, compassion, and wisdom, her path weaves together decades of study in astrology and shamanic practice. From early transformative experiences that awakened a deep awareness of interconnectedness, to years of dedicated training and apprenticeship, she has cultivated a space that invites reflection, healing, and inner alignment. At the heart of her work is a quiet but powerful understanding: that we are not separate, and that each person holds an innate capacity to return to wholeness.
Leah's Story

These values have shaped my path and continue to inform the space I hold for others.
My journey began with a deep inquiry into truth, self-direction, and the nature of fate. At twenty-two, I participated in Werner Erhard’s est training—an experience that awakened a profound awareness of Self. With that awakening, I understood that I am responsible for everything in my life.
Over twenty years ago, I began studying astrology with Laura Nalbandian and was drawn to Evolutionary Astrology, the system developed by Jeffrey Wolf Green. This perspective views the soul as evolving across lifetimes, with the birth chart offering insight into both purpose and possibility. It opened an enduring question that continues to guide my work: Are we shaped by free will, or by fate? Working with renowned Evolutionary Astrologer Maurice Fernandez, I continue my studies with The River of Stars School of Evolutionary Astrology. At this time, I do not do astrological readings. However, astrology is a powerful tool and broadens my perspective on human nature.
In 2011, I traveled to Bali to study with the late astrologer Alan Oken. During that time, I had a brief but powerful encounter with a Balinese shaman who told me, simply, that I would one day do what he does—but not yet. That moment, and the physical experience that followed, marked a turning point.
Upon returning home, I felt called to understand the deeper nature of shamanism. I began training with the late Michael Harner's Foundation for Shamanic Studies. Over thirteen years, I participated in advanced initiations experiencing the magic of the shamanic journey. Practicing the art of Soul Retrieval, Extraction and training in the Harner Method of Shamanic Counseling, I witnessed firsthand the power of the practice. The training expanded my understanding of the interconnectedness of all things.
For the past two years, I have continued my path through apprenticeship with Maraya Forrest, a formidable medium and shamanic practitioner. Through this work, I have come to understand the profound and accessible healing power of the shamanic journey, both as practitioner and journeyer.
My services include Soul Retrieval, Extraction, Power Animal Retrieval, Disentanglement, Shamanic Counseling and hosting a Journey Drum/Rattle Circle.
At the core of my work is a simple knowing:

We are expressions of a shared field of awareness—each carrying the capacity to heal, awaken, and return to wholeness. In my personal journey, aware of the Universal Power of The One, I embrace this life facing forward with gratitude. It is my hope to share the lessons of my journey and provide space for other wisdom carriers. I thank all my teachers noted above for their empowerment, compassion and wisdom.
It is from this understanding that I create space at Sol Lumina—a space for reflection, transformation, and reconnection with the wisdom of the heart and soul.
